Color and Appearance : Colorless liquid. Color No.3 maximum.

Specification: Weight per ml at 20 °C: 0.931 to 0.935g

                      Refractive index at 20 °C: 1.4825 to 1.4855

                      Boiling Range: 214 to 224 °C minmum 96%(V/V),

                                             not more than 4.0% V/V  distils   below 214°C.

                      Solubility: clearly soluble in 2 parts of 70% alcohol. Flash point: 92°C

Odor and Uses : Lilac character. Used in toliet soap and cosmetic fragrances. Also can be used in printing ink, instrument, electric-communication, pharm-aceutical industries etc. it is also used as solvent of coloring material for glass ware and china ware.

Packing and Storage: in  galvanized steel drums. To be stored in cool and dry place. Not very stable iin acid, and will not discolor.
