Calcium bromide (Br2Ca) is white crystal powder or colorless or light yellow transparent liquid. Ordorless, salty and bitter taste.

Main Application

Calcium bromide is mainly used in ocean oil wells as completion fluid, cementing fluid and workover fluid. It provides inhibition preventing the hydration and migration of swelling clays and can be used for packer fluids or to adjust the density of other brine systems.
